ETX privacy policy. What we collect, where it lives, who can see it, and how to delete it.
We collect what we need to give you a working product, never sell it, and let you export or delete it any time.
1. What we collect
We collect: account info you give us (name, email, company, phone), data you put into ETX (invoices, transactions, contacts), data your bank sends us via Open Banking once you authorize it, and standard analytics (page views, session length, browser type).
2. What we don't collect
We don't collect: your password (we never see it), your credit card (Stripe handles that), location beyond country, anything from third-party trackers.
3. Where data lives
All customer data is hosted on servers physically located in the UAE. We do not transfer customer data outside the UAE.
4. Who can see your data
Inside ETX: only your team, and our support engineers only when you raise a ticket and grant access. Outside ETX: nobody, ever, unless legally compelled by UAE authorities.
5. How long we keep it
While your account is active, plus 6 years after closure (UAE statutory record-keeping requirement for tax records). You can request earlier deletion of non-tax data.
6. Your rights
- Export — request a full data dump any time.
- Correct — change any field via the app or by email.
- Delete — close your account and your non-tax data is deleted within 30 days.
- Object — to specific processing (e.g. opt out of product analytics).
